Fasting.

Be prepared to see the Lord move in unexpected ways. You may have been waiting for him to respond in your way, and then he directs you in a way you weren’t considering that answers your petition.

After my 3 day water fast, I didn’t feel all that great. I planned on getting out and running some errands, however I was taking my trash downstairs ,and I said NO! I’M going to stay in and relax, eat a bowl of soup, and work on some chores around the house.

And that’s what I did!! Later on I took a nice therapeutic bath and it was amazing . I listened to my body and what I needed.

During my fast, I experienced alot of heart racing toward the end.

I think I over extended myself on Sunday, I got up, went to church and ran errands. When I got home I was so out of it I slept for three hours. LOL

When I take a fast I generally don’t sleep well because I will have a headache mixed with hunger pains. I ask the Lord constantly for strength.

It’s the hardest thing to do. However, if you are being called to fast which at many points in our walk we will be called to. It is a spirtual discipline as followers of Christ.

In some capacity we should all be fasting!

Trusting God with our nets. In Luke 5 Simon “Peter” is beginning his testing period to become a disciple for Jesus. I believe that Jesus is testing Simon Peter with the ability to hear his voice ,and trust what the Lord is asking him to do.

Cast your net to gather more fish than before.

Peter was a professional fisherman so he knew the water, but this particular day he wasnt catching any fish after being there for quite some time.

Peter did what Jesus asked , and his net was filled with fish. The net was filled with fish. The net overflowed with fish. The net did not bust.

Again in John 21 we see Jesus tell Peter to cast to the right - very particular, even more detailed than in Luke 5.

For our life, career, business whatever you are managing. Trusting our Father for 153 plus Jesus will always yield a better investment than we could have ever imagined.

Luke 5 & John 21

Keep on casting your net ! #153 #castyournet

TAKE A DIP

I want to encourage you today to take a dip for your healing.

Sometimes, we may see a situation as a mountain and wonder why am I going through this or what are the directions to how I get out. Lord, why me? There are so many questions we have when the directions are clear as we have seen with Naaman.

The Prophet Elisa told Naaman exactly what to do, to receive his healing but He wanted an elaborate way, a more sophisticated way to receive his healing.

The Lord may be asking you today to take a dip in what may seem unfavorable to you. However if we hone in on what our Father is saying the directions are clear and direct.

Go Dip to receive your healing.

Scripture reference- 2 Kings 5: 1-19
